A hidden gem for great dim sum food and other authentic Chinese dishes. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming here. They are from the 626 SGV area so their food has similar taste and flavor, which is a big plus imo. Great portions for every order and you can customize your orders however you want by asking them nicely. Check this place out if you are in the area and craving for great authentic Chinese food.
The spicy orange chicken was good. I asked for extra spice to the chicken, but it still tasted with very low spice to it. It was really good, though. The Thai tea was good. I enjoyed my lunch here. I appreciate the service here 🙏.
Lives up to the reviews. We ordered take out for lunch thinking we would give it a try. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. There were only a few tables inside so I was glad we didn't try to eat in. They did not have lunch portions or specials. We asked for recommendations and the young lady said the general stuff we had seen in the reviews so we tried the chicken noodles, orange chicken, and beef with brocolli. All tasted delicious and the portions were very good. As other reviews mentioned they don't come with rice so keep that in mind that the items are all ala cart. We were fine with this as we were able to try multiple items. We will be back to try more.
Service was excellent. Didn't think I'd get this quality of Chinese food in Fontana but it's here. Thanks so much. I forgot to take a pic of the Chai Mai because I gobbled it up too quickly lol but, I'll be waiting patiently for my chefs special 48hr pre-ordered Hainanese chicken!
Me and my daughter stopped by for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I had never been here before, but drove by many many times. we ordered the house, special rice, beef Kung pow and dumplings. The food was so fresh and absolutely amazing. 100% recommend this place.
We went here today and ordered the dumplings, shumai, chicken fried rice & pork buns. EVERYTHING was delicious! My favorite was the dumplings! They are so cute but packed full of flavor! I couldn't stop eating them! I will definitely be back and try more food! Awesome friendly crew as well! Very nice! Thank you, Bless you 🙏
From the perfectly balanced spice of the Kung Pao to the tender Mongolian beef, and the satisfying chew of the black pepper udon, every dish was executed flawlessly. The dumplings, both steamed and pan-fried, were little bites of heaven. Add in the delicious fried rice, and you have a meal that's simply...perfect. We're already craving our next visit.
I just moved to the area and was craving some dim sum. So glad I found this place down the street! It's in the same center as the bowling alley, so there's tons of parking. When I called my order in, I was told 20 minutes but I ended up waiting another 15 after I got there. No biggie, they were busy. I ordered XLB, shumai, har gow, and a boba Thai tea. XLB (4 stars) - 10 pieces in an order and they were each on a cute little aluminum tray. Presumably to hold in any soup that may leak out. And even after a bumpy ride home, each little dumpling survived. It wasn't the soupiest XLB, but definitely juicy. Flavor was good. Would order again. I do rate all XLB against Din Tai Fung... so 4 stars is pretty solid. Shumai (5+ stars) - shumai is one of my favorite dim sum orders... this place was LEGIT. Hefty sized shumai and absolutely delicious. You get 4 pieces in the order, and it's enough to fill me up. *Spectacular! Give me 14 of em right now!* Har gow (4 stars) - shrimp ratio wasn't bad. Wrapper was a bit thick but no biggie. We like the carbs. Boba Thai tea (4.5 stars) - boba was soft and chewy and that Thai tea was your average Thai tea. It's definitely on the sweet side... so you've been warned. Dim sum in Fontana... this is the place to go.
Be ready to eat! The food is delicious. Don't forget the chili oil! If you like orange chicken, this place makes it good! BBQ pork is bomb! Beef noodles, fire! Chicken fried rice also fantastic. I can't wait to be back already!
I’ve always heard the saying, “food so good it’ll make you wanna slap your mama”! let me tell you, Phu Chen was exactly that. We were in the area and decided to try this hidden gem, and WOW. It was so freakin’ good. We ordered the orange chicken and the black pepper mignon, and both were absolutely outstanding. The flavors were rich, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The service? Amazing. Attentive, friendly, and welcoming from start to finish. In LA we’re spoiled with so many incredible food spots, but this one? Solid 5/5. Truly a gem in the community. I will definitely be back. (Even if it’s an hour drive) haha
